In 2017, a strange structure appeared in the USSR. The government decided to isolate it immediately so as to not attract the attention of other nations. Large scientific complexes were set up around the structure for Soviet military and scientific research teams to study. They learned that the structure could be a major advantage in the development of weapons.

In fact, the temporality within the structure is controllable, and its interior is also modular. As a result of these discoveries, the scientific teams were able to control the structure from the outside and develop test rooms inside it.

Unwilling to get involved, the Soviet government decided to select a part of the population on the base of criteria, without informing them, in order to send them directly into the structure to perform tests. These tests will allow the government scientists to perfect their knowledge of this structure and to develop weapons.

You are one of the people selected and are part of the expedition groups about to be sent to the structure.

"YOU WILL BE ALONE."

EK-0 is a puzzle game where you use time to resolve enigma. Your goal is to move forward in the structure, passing to a test chamber to another. You will have multiple power like freezing object or create multiple echos of yourself. Use this power wisely to resolve rooms and progress.

This game run with Unity. It's 30min-1hour long depends on the speed of the player. The environment is inspired by the brutalist artistic mouvement.

This game can be played with gamepad and keyboard. It's made for AZERTY keyboard so be aware of that. To get a better experience, please consider playing with a gamepad (Xbox). You will find the controls directly in game. They are in the main menu and pause menu. You will also find a Control.txt and a Ek-0_Guide.pdf in the .zip, they are here to help you understand the basic of the game if you have struggled to understand how it's mean to be play.

The CHECKPOINT menu is made for you to be able to go directly through the game if you are stuck. Use it only in last resort, if you can't solve the enigma (it's a puzzle game after all, if you don't do the puzzle it's sad :'( ).
